Revenue Solutions, Inc. Awarded Contract for the City of Seattle, Department of Finance & Administrative Services, Tax Audit, Local Improvement District, and Business Improvement Area Revenue Administration Solution

(RSI), a company that specializes in providing revenue and compliance management products and services to federal, state and municipal government revenue, labor and child support agencies, is pleased to announce a contract with the City of Seattle for a Tax Audit, Local Improvement District (LID) and Business Improvement Area (BIA) Revenue Administration Solution.

The City of Seattle solicited proposals for a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution that aligns with the City’s vision for the future of business operations which requires flexibility, adaptability, scalability, autonomy, frugality and efficiency.

Designed specifically for the Tax and Revenue industry, RSI’s Revenue Premier® provides the City of Seattle a solution with streamlined business processes and audit methods that are enabled by a single modern, flexible and integrated software technology platform.

The Project’s current scope includes a five year contract with a planning/mobilization phase and three distinct implementation phases within the first two years.  Key features of the Project include:

  • A centralized Data Warehouse solution to aggregate internal and external data sources to provide a unified view of the City’s taxpayers for improved audit selection and general reporting
  • An end-to-end Tax Audit solution to centrally and electronically maintain audit cases, manage case flows, approvals and audit workpapers
  • A LID/BIA Revenue Administration solution to handle registration of ratepayers, creation and maintenance of new Local Improvement Districts/Business Improvement Areas, quarterly/annual billing and accounting, collections, revenue accounting and general correspondence capabilities

The deployment of Revenue Premier, which began in early November with the project planning and mobilization phase, will be followed by three years of ongoing support and maintenance.
