February 13, 2015. Pembroke, MA – Revenue Solutions, Inc. (RSI), a company that specializes in providing revenue and compliance management products and services to Federal, State and Municipal government revenue, labor and child support agencies, is pleased to announce it has signed a contract to provide the City of Philadelphia Department of Revenue with a Tax Delinquency Data Warehouse and Case Management System. In a competitive bid process, the City of Philadelphia chose RSI’s Revenue Premier®, a Commercial-off-the-Shelf software suite designed specifically for the Tax and Revenue industry, to meet their need for centralization of multiple data sources and the segmentation, flow, prioritizing and tracking of cases through the enforcement process.
Installation of RSI’s Revenue Premier will create exciting new tools for the agency and improve collections and generate additional revenue.
Key features of the project include:
- A centralized data warehouse to aggregate data from a variety of internal and external sources (e.g., city, state, federal and third-party) to provide authorized users a unified view of Philadelphia taxpayers and customers
- Analytical processing that will segment and score cases so that each case can be directed into different collection flows (treatments) to utilize the most effective collection actions (e.g., phone calls, letter, legal actions, etc.)
- A case management system that will streamline case processing by assigning cases for specific actions
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting to provide users the ability to leverage the Data Warehouse to perform statistical analysis and to gain insights into collections performance and Revenue trends
The multi-year project is being done under a benefits-based arrangement, without any guaranteed payments by the City of Philadelphia to RSI until measurable benefits are realized. The Department of Revenue and RSI will work in partnership to bring together the technology and expertise necessary to achieve the goals of improved debt collection.
