Saskatchewan e-Tax Services Portal is live!

January 8, 2019. Pembroke, MA – RSI, a company that specializes in providing revenue and compliance management products and services to federal, state, and municipal government revenue, labor, and child support agencies, is pleased to announce the successful go-live of Revenue Premier® Taxpayer Portal for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance (MoF).

The Portal release, which went live on December 3rd, 2018, is the latest stage in the phased implementation of a Tax and Revenue Management Solution for the Saskatchewan MoF Revenue Division.

The Taxpayer Portal provides taxpayers with a complete set of functions and uses the same services and business rules deployed in Revenue Premier to internal Ministry of Finance users.

The public-accessible site called the Saskatchewan e-Tax Services (SETS) Portal, is built on a portal framework using industry-standard tools (drop-down lists, help screens, and messages about missing information), and provides out of the box functions, such as a message inbox and web content management.

This phase of the Taxpayer Portal includes the first three releases of a five-release plan. Functionality supports onboarding users, viewing account financials and correspondence, filing returns and making electronic payments. The first set of users are Education Property Tax, Fuel Tax and Tobacco Tax filers.

The e-Tax Services Portal will reduce Saskatchewan MoF customer service workload as taxpayers adopt the full-featured portal. Only two and a half weeks into production, MoF had signed up over 300 users, processed $677,583 in payments and processed more than 250 returns.
